Diego Monaco is a 43-year-old Italian entrepreneur born in Milan, North Italy, and raised in Postiglione, South Italy, a picturesque small town facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. His deep passion for the sartorial world was nurtured by his beloved parents, who opened a small tailoring shop in Postiglione over 60 years ago. Diego spent his childhood surrounded by rolls of exquisite fabrics, the delicate sound of cutting scissors, and the sight of passionate tailors’ hands at work in the shop.
Curious and energetic, Diego longed to explore the world and immerse himself in the art of tailoring. At the age of 19, he began learning about the finest quality fabrics and the old techniques of craftsmanship. After more than 20 years of invaluable experience, Diego decided to create and launch his own collections of shirting and neckwear under the brands Diego Monaco and Su Misura by Diego Monaco.
Diego’s collections are meticulously handcrafted by a small team of skilled tailors, using only the finest fabrics from Italy.
